The difference
Designed covered is not the same as covered up.
When a sleeve is added to a sleeveless pattern, the shoulder was never drawn for it; when a neckline is raised after the fact, the proportions above it were never balanced for the change. The dress works against itself — and a discerning eye sees it across the room.
A HANIYE commission begins differently. Your wishes on coverage are part of the brief before the first line is drawn, so sleeve, neckline, hem and drape belong to one continuous idea. The result carries the same authority as any gown in our Register — because it was conceived whole. Fit is not corrected — it is built. So is modesty.

What does "modest couture" mean at HANIYE?
Coverage is part of the design from the first sketch — sleeves, necklines, hemlines and opacity are drawn for you, not added to an existing dress afterwards. Because every gown begins as a blank pattern drafted to one woman, modesty is engineered in, with no compromise in elegance or movement.
Can you design long-sleeve evening gowns?
Yes — long sleeves are a signature request. Sleeves are drafted to your arm and shoulder so they move freely through a long evening: greeting, dining, dancing. Sheer, lined, embellished or fully opaque — the level of coverage is yours to define.
Do you create modest wedding dresses?
